We're a small group, so far, still not well organized, 30 miles west of Alton, Illinois, in southern Calhoon County, in a scenic, hilly, rural area near a wildlife refuge, rivers and bike trails. OAHSPE predicted that governments based on force would soon fail and gradually be replaced by spiritual communities based on consensus without leaders, which would raise orphans and others as a new people on the earth, peaceful and altruistic.
We seek to have such a community, wherein all are students and teachers in the Skoola life. We're pro-life, pacifist and mostly vegetarian. We're quite skeptical of re-incarnation and other dogmas. We favor freedom of thought for all. We have garden and farm land and camping space, but not much housing, as yet. We favor homeskooling, and we welcome fun, idealistic pragmatists. Aloha!

An Intentional Community, Currently in Formation
In the Qabalistic Tree of Life, Malkuth represents the Kingdom: the world in which we live. Those of us who are involved in the formation of this intentional community are concerned with living well in this world, responsibly managing our finances, our relationships, and our lives. We feel that intentional community is a good way to develop healthy relationships, manage one's finances while being able to work in a profession that is both productive and enjoyable, and a way to enrich our lives by committing ourselves to others who share similar values.
Our community is in "formation" which means that we have not yet aquired common property or have started living in community. We are, however, a group of individuals who are committed to exploring the possibility of living together in community.
At this point in our project, membership in the community is by invitation only, however, we do invite inquiries from interested parties.
