When some of my friends and family got together to create our Safe Haven, we realized that the only right thing to do is to make this available to as many as possible. We also realized that should the worst fears of Y2k materialize that there would be safety in numbers and that the reliance on fellow community members would help insure our community success. If you think that you would like to be part of our Safe Haven please take the time to read below, and if you are interested visit our web page:
Safe Haven provides you and your family ample forest for hunting, a stocked lake for fishing, as well as community and private plots for gardening. Off Grid Electricity and water available for each of the 8000 square foot private camping/RV lots. Spend Y2k in a safe, secure, gated community located in rural Mississippi. With supply replenishment available, sanitation, food and lifes other necessities. Safe Haven Hunting and Fishing Club is located 15 miles from a major highway and 25 miles from the interstate. Safe Haven provides you ample forest surrounding modern camp grounds, as well as a stocked lake for fishing. With moderate winters and springs, Safe Haven is ideal for the entire family. Since it is located in Mississippi, it is easily accessible from Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Illinois.
Each camp lot is approximately 1/5th of an acre (8,000 square feet), large enough to accomodate your vehicle and/or motor home, trailer, or tent, leaving ample space for an area to prepare your game or just relax with family and friends.
Safe Haven allows you two affordable options; Deluxe Memberships providing water and electricity at your lot, or Standard Memberships with community water and electricity.
Fees are based on a 6 month membership, beginning January 1, 2000, and ending on June 30, 2000. December 1999 is free! For an additional fee, you may extend your membership for up to three months. Remember, December is free to members, so you may use the club as early as September 1, 1999, and stay as late as September 30, 2000.
In addition to being a great place to hunt, fish or just get away from it all, it is also a place that would afford your family a comfortable and secure temporary living environment, in the event of a national catastrophe as a result of Y2k. So, whether you want to enjoy the great outdoors, or just get away from it all, Safe Haven is the answer you are looking for.
