I've started a survival community in New Jersey in order to spread the word and help people get food and other supplies.
Right now the main objective of this survival community is to help get members food, water, and supplies. When the Y2k hits, the plan is to immediately meet and stick togeather, no matter where we travel, or stay.

The Cape May County Community Y2K Preparedness Work Group is a diverse group of individuals from all walks of life and political and religious persuasions. Being informed about current news and having unbiased views on the potential of the Year 2000 computer problem is perhaps the most obvious means of preparation for Y2K.
It is up to each of us to remain informed and educated about the problem, and to be prepared for the possibilities that may become realities. Our goal is not only to be self-sufficient on a personal basis, but on a community basis. We are committed to providing a Y2K reality check for the county leadership - including government, business, and religious leaders. Y2K is the perfect catalyst to mobilize the couch potato culture into action because our survival may well rest in everyone working together and not being concerned who gets the credit.
Five years from now when the subject of Y2K comes up how will you answer this question? “Was Y2K as you imagined?” Answers will range from “Boy am I glad we prepared for the worst!” to “Are you kidding? I’m still trying to recover!”
Meet with us every Thursday at 7:30 PM, at the Wildwood Visitor’s Center, upstairs in the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce meeting room.
