Christian family; I am very concerned about the coming trials and am looking for survival groups in my area. If there aren't any, I'd like to start one. I don't think there is any excuse to not have at least some level of preparedness, at least a plan should everything go awry.

I am developing a 50 acre tract for a survival type mobil home park. We have deep and shallow wells, fuel tanks, generator. I have had this property for several years and had been planning a mobil home park for retirement income in about 15 years.
Many y2k'rs will have more than ample info and wait until it does them no good. If they wait until Peter Jennings tells them to "head for the hills" the freeway will be clogged.

Thank you for the response. Uncle Mike probably wanted you to show me as one of your "reps" in "Texas" for your network. I have given hiim much y2k info in the last few months.
I have been involved with Y2k stuff since late 1997 and have started pesonal preparations in Spring 1998. Your website helpd me locate Dennis Elenberg back in May here in Dallas. He is now a friend that I see frequently. My wife and I continue to pray about where God wants us to minister now and for the next ? years considering y2k. At first we wanted to move out of Dallas to East Texas. To move to the country has always been a dream and is still astron desire but for some reason God has delayed us for the time being.
I talk to folks every week about y2k. Some are still skeptical, some want more info, some have just seen the light. I am trying to get my church to address the issue and have another meeting with my pastor next Tuesday. I initially talked to him 3 months ago. He now says he wants to talk seriously. Please pray for me on this as we have about 120 families in our church and our neighborhood is right smack in the middle of North Dallas. Quite a field for harvest.
How can I assist you? I am aware of several Dallas area groups preparing for y2k. Dallas Area Y2k Community Preparedness Group (DAYCPG), and splinter groups in Arlington, Denton, Rockwall and Richardson. Other groups forming every week.

I have a rural homestead in The hill country on 12 acres.I am intrested in finding others who might want to relocate.This place has organic fenced gardens and the best soil in the area.It has 2 houses and two trailers for housing acoomodations.One of the houses is a large 3000 sq. ft beauty with wrap around porches(cooling in summer) and airtight wood stove that can heat the whole house.It has a deep well and a large chickenhouse and pen.Beautiful ,secluded setting. The house also has a huge kitchen and is arranged in such a way that it could easily be shared by more than one family if necessary....perhaps while building another dwelling?
AM intrested in finding folks that would be intrested in forming community whether Y2k was a reality or not but who see the necessity of "getting on with it" sooner than later. This could also be an option for those who are community minded but not sure they want to make a jump to arural life permanently but would like to be there "in case"I am willing to sellportions of this land ( to community minded people) but I see other options as well.
